Sustainable Jewellery

Sustainability has become a widely used term – yet it often remains a buzzword, accompanied by superficial claims and greenwashing. This makes it all the more important to speak openly about what sustainability truly means. It goes far beyond the origin of materials: it is a holistic approach and a mindset that shapes every aspect of a business – from sourcing and resource use to the way a company is run and craftsmanship is practiced.

For me, sustainability is the result of many conscious decisions. The following measures and values form the foundation of my approach to responsible business and craftsmanship:

  • Create a company that will last – long-term thinking instead of short-term profit.

  • Build meaningful relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure good collaboration.

  • Use recycled materials for packaging whenever possible, or at least FSC-certified paper (new trees are planted to replace those used).

  • Minimize the use of dangerous chemicals wherever possible.

  • Reduce waste by reusing materials and recycling everything that can be recycled.

  • Send online orders in cartons received from suppliers to avoid new packaging.

  • Source materials responsibly, including Fairmined and recycled gold.

  • Offering lab-grown diamonds which have low impact on the environnement

  • Carefully select and source gemstones with transparency and ethics in mind.
